The red stalks are long and tender and are reputed to have the lowest content of oxalic acid of all rhubarb.

Early maturing, establishes quickly.

Can be harvested lightly in the first year by snapping or cutting the outer stalks, which will allow them to clump up for the following season.

Excellent for forcing and very easy to grow.

Hardy and disease resistant.
